Come and find out more about the London Bridge station redevelopment
06 October 2015
Network Rail, in partnership with Team London Bridge and Better Bankside, would like to invite you to a business forum about the London Bridge station redevelopment and preparing for the major service changes which may impact you, your staff and customers.
A major programme of improvement work at London Bridge this Christmas will mean major changes to services, including no Southeastern trains stopping at Charing Cross, Waterloo East, Cannon Street and London Bridge. This work is part of the Thameslink Programme, which is continuing to rebuild the railway and station at London Bridge as part of the ongoing project to improve the reliability and frequency of services.
From Easter 2016 to May 2018 it will be necessary to partially close Tooley Street as our work moves across the station. This is because we need to relocate our work site, which is currently accessed from St Thomas Street, to enable the rebuild of platforms 1-3 and the Tooley Street entrance.
We are holding two events to talk about the work and how it may impact you. We know there will be lots of questions from local residents and businesses and have decided to separate the audiences to provide more focused and tailored events.
The events will cover:
- How the rebuild of London Bridge station is progressing and details of upcoming work
- Christmas 2015 service changes
- Tooley Street closure and bus diversion routes
- Advice on preparing your business
There will also be an opportunity to ask our project team questions.
Date: Thursday 22 October
Location: Thameslink Visitor Suite, 30-32 Tooley Street, London Bridge
If you would like to attend this event please RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org
