Gatwick Diamond Champion shortlisted for Lifetime Achievement Award

David Butcher, Founder and Managing Director of FD Outsourcing Limited, has been nominated for a Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2015 Business Matters Awards.
For over 20 years, David has worked extensively for the benefit of the area’s business community. As well as founding and running a highly successful business based in Crawley, David has dedicated time and energy to supporting the wider local business community.
Over the years, he has been the President of the East Grinstead Chamber of Commerce and Director and Chairman of Gatwick Diamond Business (formerly CADIA). In 2002, he became a founding director of the West Sussex Economic Partnership (WSEP) and was instrumental in launching the Gatwick Diamond Initiative in 2004 with the aim of improving the economic performance of the area. Since 2009, he has been Chairman of the Gatwick Diamond Initiative’s Management Group.
Rosemary French congratulated David on his nomination for the award, saying: “David has made a major contribution to the local businesses community over a number of years and has worked tirelessly to champion the Gatwick Diamond to ensure that it continues to be a world-class place in which to live, work and do business. The fact he has been shortlisted for this important local award is testament to his hard work and dedication.”
The annual Business Matters Awards is an opportunity to celebrate the very best in business in the Horsham, Crawley & Mid Sussex area. Winners will be announced at a gala black tie dinner on the 3rd July.
