Coast to Capital Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) has published a review of its activities during the past year.

The Annual Report 2014-15, called ‘Green Light for Growth’ is available for download from its website at

Coast to Capital stands at the heart of the business relationship between Whitehall and the region’s local authority partners, with an extended network that includes local area partners, business associations, higher and further education providers and the third sector.

Chief Executive Ron Crank explains that the LEP’s mission is to improve the international competitiveness and sustained profitability of businesses in the region by removing barriers to growth and by providing necessary infrastructure and access to people, knowledge and opportunities. An overriding aim of the LEP is to ensure that all communities share in this prosperity.

On publishing the report, Chairman Tim Wates said:  “This has been an exciting year for Coast to Capital. Following the announcement of our Growth Deal, which will see millions invested in our region, a significant projects delivery programme is being implemented.  With our partners, we are investing thoughtfully in the industries and infrastructure that will carry our region into the future and provide a lasting legacy for all those who visit, work, study and invest here.”
