Avensys Ltd have announced that they are providing the exciting Audio Visual installation for the exclusive ‘Elvis at The O2’ exhibition that opened on 12 December 2014.
The exhibition runs until August 2015 at The O2, London and will give visitors a personal insight into the life of Elvis Presley, the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll, through the largest Elvis retrospective ever mounted in Europe, Elvis at The O2. The nine month exhibition showcases over 300 artefacts direct from the Presley family’s treasured Graceland archives, some of which have never been exhibited outside of Graceland in Memphis.
The contract for the Audio Visual design, supply, installation and management was awarded to Avensys because of their expertise and track record in delivering complex, high impact installations. The Avensys team has developed an industry reputation with an experienced and highly skilled team of engineers that deliver every time.
Equipment installed by Avensys includes 7 x Sony VPL-CW255 projectors, 3 x Sony 65” 4K LED Screens and 1 x 40” LED display. With the finale of the Exhibition taking visitors to the Las Vegas years, the large space required a powerful projector to display Elvis’ Vegas shows. A 7000 ANSI Lumen Sony VPL-FX500L was ceiling mounted to give professional visual clarity for the life of the exhibition.
The footage for each area was supplied directly by the Graceland organisation and was required to play on a loop, throughout each day, with minimal intervention, until the end of the exhibition in August 2015. Avensys provided digital services that created edited versions which were looped as MP4 files on solid state hard drive players.
