Gatwick Diamond Initiative appoints leading local solicitor to its Board

The Gatwick Diamond Initiative is delighted to announce that local solicitor Karim Mohamed from Mayo Wynne Baxter has agreed to join its Board and will be leading the partnership’s drive to grow the region’s entrepreneurial businesses and skilled workforce.
Karim is Partner and Head of the Professional Negligence Group at Mayo Wynne Baxter. He is recognised as one of the country’s top professional negligence lawyers by the leading independent guide to the profession, Legal 500.
Karim will be chairing the Gatwick Diamond INSPIRE Group, tasked with bringing together agencies and businesses across the Gatwick Diamond to create, attract and retain a talented world-class workforce.
Speaking of his appointment Karim said: "I am delighted to have been appointed to the Board of the Gatwick Diamond Initiative. The businesses in this area make a significant contribution to the national economy and investment in the workforce of the region is vital for its successful future performance. As Chair of the INSPIRE Group, I will be working closely with our key partners to meet our vision to create the best possible location for businesses to start up, grow and recruit skilled employees.”

Karim is also the Secretary to the Haywards Heath and District Business Association (HHDBA) one of Gatwick Diamond’s leading business membership organisations. Outside of work he devotes a lot of his time to charity work and enjoys playing golf.
