West Sussex Businesses can Save Money Thanks to Energy Efficiency Grant Funding
29 September 2014
Small businesses based in West Sussex have the opportunity to apply for grant funding to help improve the energy efficiency of their premises and save money.
Businesses can apply for up to £2,000, with qualifying projects including upgrading lighting to LEDs, fitting insulation or a new boiler. A total of £20,000 of grant funding is available. If oversubscribed, applications will be judged by a panel looking at potential energy and carbon savings and the suitability of the project for the business.
The grants are funded by West Sussex County Council, who are keen to help local businesses reduce their carbon footprint and increase profitability. The programme is administered by the Sustainable Business Partnership CIC, a not-for-profit company as part of the ERDF part-funded RE:Start Local programme.
Applications must be received in full by 5pm Friday 24th October.
