Coast to Capital Local Enterprise Partnership is seeking to recruit a Chairman and seven business leaders to the Board of the Coast to Capital LEP.
Coast to Capital Local Enterprise Partnership is seeking to recruit a Chairman and seven business leaders to the Board of the Coast to Capital LEP. This is a chance for experienced business leaders to play a key role in influencing economic development and business growth in this area.
The Board will be made up of seven business leaders and five local authority leaders, together with a representative from higher/further education, and will be chaired by a prominent business person. The Board will take the lead in shaping and driving the formation of Coast to Capital Partnership and its strategies and work programme.
The responsibility of the Coast to Capital Board will include:
Understanding the local economy and its drivers
Developing a strategy to create the right environment (including planning and infrastructure protocols with the planning authorities)
Setting investment priorities and identifying a small number of catalytic projects
Raising funding from the private sector and bidding for funding
Commissioning delivery (possibly from a single purpose delivery vehicle)
