The Gatwick Diamond Initiative (‘we’, ‘our’, ‘us’) is based at Basepoint Business Centre, Metcalf Way, Crawley RH11 7XX. We are a business-led public/ private partnership in an internationally-recognised area of economic growth that stretches from the south of Croydon to the north of Brighton and forms a key growth hub within the wider South East. Focusing on key strategic issues, the Gatwick Diamond Initiative works to address the needs of the area to ensure it is a world-class place to live, work and do business.
The Gatwick Diamond is committed to maintaining the trust and confidence of visitors to our web site and subscribers to our news and information updates. Here you’ll find information on how we treat the data that we collect from visitors to our website, or when someone subscribes to receive news and information from us.

Visitors to our website
When someone visits our website we use a third party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is processed in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.

News and information sign up
One of the key roles of the Gatwick Diamond Initiative is to share relevant information and research about the Gatwick Diamond economic area with local organisations and businesses who have shown an interest in finding out more. We do this by sending out a Gatwick Diamond E-newsletter. From time to time, we also invite interested parties to attend relevant local events or to take part in a regular Gatwick Diamond business survey if they so wish.
If you choose to subscribe to receive news and information, we will collect some personal information from you, including your name, company/ organisation, email address and postcode (to help identify what region you are located in). We employ an external communications agency, Prowse & Co. Ltd., to help us with events, PR and marketing activities. Neither the Gatwick Diamond Initiative, nor Prowse & Co. Ltd., will rent or trade email lists with other organisations and businesses.

How long do we store your personal data?
We will only retain your personal data for as long as is necessary for the purposes of providing you with information, news, events and survey invitations or until you withdraw your consent. We retain your event attendance data for three years after you have uploaded the information via our website or third-party event booking systems.
