As of September 2008, East Surrey College has been accredited by Brighton University to deliver a Foundation Degree Course in Business. This practical, work-related course develops the necessary skills, knowledge and understanding in a vocational context to provide a sound education in the fundamentals of business. Initially developed in partnership with Central Sussex College, the Foundation Degree has been designed to respond to the skills needs of businesses in the Gatwick Diamond area.

Learners will be able to contribute further to an organisation in different areas including Human Resources, Finance, Marketing and Sales. The course is a well regarded qualification for progression to the 3rd year of an Honours Degree.

The course will be run over 2 years, one evening per week and one Saturday a month. Accounting for Business, Marketing, Environmental Management, Human Resources and Business Law are just some of the topics covered.
