Living in the Diamond
A significant part of the Diamond is designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Surrounded by beautiful countryside, yet never far from the Sussex coast and the lively city of Brighton or the centre of London, the towns and villages within the Gatwick Diamond offer a huge choice of homes to suit all lifestyles. The town of Horsham, for example, is regularly ranked in the top ten best places to live in the UK (Location, Location, Location survey) and has nationally excellent sports and recreational facilities (Sport England).
Across the Gatwick Diamond, there is a good choice of high quality state schools and outstanding independent schools, as well as further and higher education centres. There is also a Japanese Rikkyo School and several schools offer the International Baccalaureate. Good transport links exist across the area to offer an excellent range of shops, restaurants and entertainment and leisure options, as well as a wide range of employers and the possibility to commute into London.
